Work Related Upper Limb Disorder / Repetitive Strain Injury

Detailed information on how to claim for Work Related Upper Limb Disorder / Repetitive Strain Injury.

There are a range of disorders that affect the muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves of the upper limbs. If such disorder has been caused through work, then it is referred to a Work Related Upper Limb Disorder (WRULD). Disorders of this nature are also sometimes referred to as Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI).

In the workplace, injuries of this nature often arise from repetitive and forceful work carried out over a period of time. They can be attributed to the operation of a poor system of work by the employer or, alternatively, through the employee adopting a poor work posture or working at a badly designed work station. If such circumstances exist, then an employer can be held responsible for the soft tissue injuries sustained.

If you think you may be suffering from problems with the muscles/tendons/ligaments/nerves in your arms and that those problems may be attributable to your working environment, then please get in touch with one of our experienced Team for advice and assistance.
